Meet Nanci
Nanci Appleman-Vassil
Founder & CEO
In 2000, NANCI founded APLS Group. Before that, SHE was a corporate training manager for Fortune 500 company R.H. Donnelley and Director of Programs at NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Science.
In these roles, Nanci provided a full range of training and organizational development services including identifying leaders, coaching managers and executives, and developing teams to build a high-performance culture.
Since 2000, Nanci has dedicated her professional career to growing APLS Group into a reputable leadership/talent development and a coaching/consulting organization. Her approach of partnering with clients to create and deliver the most appropriate, effective and efficient solutions has resulted in many long-term relationships with satisfied clients around the globe.
Nanci has her MA in Counseling from the University of Colorado, a BA in Psychology and Education from the University of Denver, and she is also National Certified Counselor. She is certified as a facilitator of a variety of assessment tools and programs, including Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, Everything DiSC®, Achieve Global®, DDI®, Situational Leadership® and Targeted Selection®.
Nanci is also a Certified Professional Speaker™, a member of the National Speakers Association, and the Association for Talent Development. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Carolinas chapter of the National Speakers Association.
